About Us

The Oracle School was founded in 1998 by Pauline Wills, Patricia Jackson, Reg Money and the Rev. Olivea Dewhurst-Maddock.  Registered with the Complementary Medical Association (CMA), the school aims to create a happy and protected environment for students to work in while providing them with a high standard of training.  Students are encouraged to work towards their own healing and personal growth in order that they may help others to do likewise.

The School runs:
  • An 18 month  Colour Practitioner Diploma course
  • A course for qualified reflexologists who wish to integrate colour with reflexology
  • Weekend and day workshops on a variety of topics
  • A one year distance learning course on Colour Reflexology for qualified reflexologists

Who Are We?

Pauline Wills M.B.R.A., H.Dip.C.Th, MIACT, DSA
Pauline Wills is a qualified yoga instructor, reflexologist and colour practitioner and pioneered the integration of colour with reflexology.  Her first introduction to the healing power of colour was through yoga and then through the Maitreya School of Colour Healing.  She is the co-founder of The Oracle School of Colour where she teaches and practises colour therapy and reflexology.  She has written several books on complementary therapy.

Patricia Jackson B.A. Hons
Patricia Jackson worked for several years as a journalist before reading for an Honours Degree in English and becoming a University Lecturer.  An interest in meditation led her to research the mystical tradition in English Literature and, latterly, the relationship of this tradition to the findings of modern theoretical physicists.  She herself practises T.M.   Skills in educational psychology and counselling, originally developed as part of her journalistic work, were developed further in fulfilling the pastoral care duties associated with teaching.  She has attended and organised many educational Encounter workshops, and is particularly interested in the work of C. G. Jung.

Rev. Olivea Dewhurst-Maddock LRAM, ARCM, H.Dip.C.Th, MBRA
Olivea Dewhurst-Maddock has been involved in musical activities from childhood, appearing as a soloist when she was only three years old.  She is a Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music, and an Associate of the Royal College of Music.  After a career performing in opera (Sadler’s Wells, Focus opera and Intimate Opera companies), she has worked as a free-lance singer, teacher of singing and voice-therapist, in addition to activities in Further and Adult education, Church Music, Choral conducting and Operatic Direction.

Having observed the human voice to be the true mirror of the complex energy patterns which comprise body, soul and spirit, Olivea believes Sound Communication, together with Colour and Form, to be an ideal method of holistic healing for the 21st Century.  She has been a tutor for the Oracle School of Colour since its foundation.

Her new and exciting areas of research include Sound and Reflexology, and the development of Meditative Music in an Inter-Faith context.  Her book, ‘Healing with Sound’ is published by Gaia Books Ltd.
