Colour-reflexology was researched and pioneered by Pauline Wills who has written books on this and on colour therapy. Each weekend covers various aspects of colour with a lot of practical work. Courses are kept to a minimum of ten people allowing for maximum individual attention. Topics covered over the four attendance weekends are: The science of colour. Sensitivity to colour. The aura and chakras. Making and interpreting a spinal diagnostic chart. Relating this chart to the medical spinal chart. A generalisation of the terms: 'general colour'; 'treatment colour'; and 'overall colour'. The importance of the overall colour and ways to ascertain this. Working with the overall colour. How and when the appropriate colours are applied to the reflexes on the hands or feet. The chinese colours and their relationship to the platonic solids. Treating the meridian points on the hands and feet. There will be practical work throughout. During the six months following the attendance weekends, students will be expected to submit eight case studies, each containing a minimum of four treatments, plus their thesis. This can be on any aspect of colour they care to research. Students reaching the standard set by the Oracle School and approved by the Complementary Medical Association (CMA) will receive the Oracle School's diploma qualifying them to use colour through the hands and feet only, in conjunction with a reflexology qualification. The cost of the course is £400 pounds. This fee does not include books or any instrumentation but includes, handouts; marking course work; marking case studies; your thesis and issuing a diploma qualifying those reaching the set standard to integrate colour with a reflexology treatment. The dates of the attendance weekends are: Part 1 - 30th and 31st January 2016 Part 2 - 27th and 28th February 2016 Part 3 - 9th and 10th April 2016 Part 4 - 14th and 15th May 2016 Early bird bookings before the 1st December 2016 receive a 10% discount Students are asked to bring with them a set of twelve coloured pencils, (red, red-orange, orange, gold, yellow, lime green, green, turquoise, blue, indigo, violet and magenta), a note book, pen, pencil and ruler.
